Gorjuss

Well, first things first.  My nephew is 3 tomorrow so first task was to make a birthday card without lots of bits attached that could potentially choke a toddler!  I went with the giraffes which is a stamp from hobby craft, coloured with promarkers, and a paper pad which I bought from The Works. The number is a peel off and the words are rub offs again ftom The Works.

Next up was Gorjuss from docrafts. Using paperpack, diecut toppers and embellishments bought from Osbournes office I made these. 

I also made 2 cards using a free Acid drops & whatnots stamp which came with a craft magazine. 

Not sure how good the pictures are so any tips will be gratefully received

Well we are off on holiday for a couple of weeks so no posts til we are back

New batch

Well, we recently moved house and my craft space is not as good as in the old place. I am stuffed under a beam under a sloping roof. Seriously in danger of banging my head! So on Thursday night while TOH was out I decamped to the living room for a session. I used some of the docraft Tilly Daydream and also a set that I bought at the nec hobbycraft show. I also used ribbons from my stash -some of the girls I work with donate the hanger ribbon when they buy new clothes. I finished my craft session at 1 am and realised I had to tidy up before I went to bed. Anyway here are pics of the cards I made.

Well, this is my first post.  I make cards and do cross stitch. My cards are generally made on batches unless I have a commission.  I will uploads pictures when I make cards and would'veolove to receive comments ln the cards.

This week I have picked up my cross stitch after a break of a couple of years. I am doing thd Marie Van Scharrenburg "day" fairy.  It is going well so far and it stops me snacking in the evening.
